UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN NEAR A CHURCH OR MISSION DOOR
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of an unidentified woman standing near a small church or California mission door, probably March 1932. The woman wears a light-colored dress and a dark cloche hat and dark shoes. To her right is a narrow arched entrance and a rough wood door with vertical serpentine lines carved into it. A small hole is at the lower right portion of the door. On either side about level with the woman's head, are caps in the wall, giving the impression of columns. Parts of some plants are at the far left and right, including a fern and a small tree. What may be the end of a chair arm is at the foreground lower right corner. On the reverse is the stamped number "D90," the same number that is on the preceding image, suggesting the date. With some indications of water damage on the top edge, the object is in fair condition.
