A certificate issued by the United Cigar Stores of America, July 1928. The blue artifact has an ornate border and the number "1/2" on the corners of the front and back. Across the top of the front is the name of the company and below this is the number "1/2" within a circle. Flanking the circle is the red logo of the company. At the bottom is the word, "CERTIFICATES." At the top of the back is the number, "637862 RE." Below this is the name of the company; the words, "TWO / CERTIFICATES"; a note indicating that the certificates are redeemable according to the premium catalog only by the person to whom they were issued; and the phrase, "LARGEST CIGAR RETAILERS IN THE WORLD." This item was with the catalog which is 94.19.1.5 and other certificates which are 94.19.1.31-.33, and .35-.36. With abrasions on the corners, the object is in good condition.
