A certificate issued by the United Cigar Stores of America, July 1928. The brown artifact has an ornate border on the front with the name of the company across the top. At the center is the word, "COUPON." This is flanked by the logo of the company. Across the bottom is, "REDEEMABLE ONLY BY THE PERSON TO WHOM ORIGINALLY ISSUED." Below this are the words, "LAGEST RETAIL TABACCONISTS IN THW WORLD." At the back is an ornate border and the name of the company at the top flakd by the logo. Below this is the word, "COUPON" flanked by the number "1/2"; a note indicating that the certificate is redeemable according to the conditions of the premium catalog and only by the person to whom they were issued; and the phrase, "LARGEST CIGAR RETAILERS IN THE WORLD." All the printing is in black ink. This item was with the catalog which is 94.19.1.5 and other certificates which are 94.19.1.31-.35. With a crease at the right side and abrasions on the corners, the object is in overall good condition.
