Color: Black and white
A black and white photographic negative of an unknown boy at the Vigare Adobe, San Gabriel, circa summer 1931. He is standing next to an empty field and is wearing a shirt, overalls, and shoes and with one hand in his pants pocket and another at his mouth. In the background are some trees and a one-story building that may be the Vigare Adobe, which was owned by Laura Temple's sister, Luz Vigare. Thomas W. Temple II, who probably took the photograph, lived at the adobe from 1930 to 1938. The image came in accession 97.59.12.3 along with images .5-.13 and .15. The negative is in good condition with no indication of damage.
