A black and white photographic negative of an unknown boy at the Vigare Adobe, San Gabriel, circa summer 1931. The boy, who appears to be four or five years old is standing near an empty field, wearing a shirt, overalls, and shoes and is holding something in one hand, it appears to be a cigarette. In the background are trees and a one-story building that appears to be the adobe. The Vigare Adobe was owned by Laura Temple's sister Luz Vigare and Thomas W. Temple II, who may be the photographer, lived there from 1930 to 1938. The image came in accession 97.58.12.3 along with images .5-.12 and .14-.15. The negative is in good condition with no indication of damage.
