Description

Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of an unknown woman on a beach, ca. 1927. The woman, who is several Temple family photographs and is obviously a friend of either Agnes or Thomas Temple, is standing on the sand, with a low bluff behind her. She wears a dark-colored outfit with horizontal striping at the collar, which flares out and at the hem near the ankles, giving the appearance of a naval-type design. Her hands appear to be tucked into pockets at the sides. Other than seaweed on the sand, some plant material on the bluff, and, possibly, a portion of a car above the bluff, there are no other items of notice. On the upper right of the reverse is the stamped number "D56." Aside from creases at the upper right and lower right and light discoloration on the reverse, the artifact is in good condition.
