Description

UNUSED POSTCARD WITH AN IMAGE OF AN ABORIGINAL FIGURE, CA. 1920s Color: White, black An unused postcard, featuring an image of an aboriginal figure, ca. 1920s. The image is a black and white photograph of a man dressed in a loin-cloth, beads, a wooden weapon or implement in his left hand, and a fur-lined bag of some kind in his right. There is landscaping behind him, but no identification as to what the image is from. On the reverse is printed text with the words "POST CARD" at top left, the stamp box at top right, indicators for correspondence on the left and name and address on the right with a dividing line between the two. With some bowing of the paper and discoloration on the reverse, the card is in good condition.
