VALANCE, PAIR, NEEDLE WOVEN LACE ON OFF-WHITE COTTON BASE FABRIC
Pair of valances of needle woven lace on knotted base fabric, made of off-white cotton thread with geometric banding at tops, V'd scalloped edge at bottoms and lace edging along sides. Curator suspects that these "valances" are actually border sections from another pair of curtains. While not identical to 89.3.3a-b in motif, they could be made into valances to go with these curtains.
