2000.273.1.7Description
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of a Valentine's Day card, ca. 1980s. The four-piece card, that joins to form a large image, has a heart of flowers at the center. At the heart's four corners are girls in windows that look at boys at the opposite ends. The boys at the top corners of the card are in hearts, while the one at the bottom left kneels and the other at the right stands. Across the background is a forest and around the outside is a ribbon and ornate border. Printed on each of the card's four sections are the words, "To my Valentine." The section at the bottom right is slightly torn along the grooves. The artifact, which is part of the Homestead Museum's artifact collection, is item 82.18.1.10. There are no signs of damage or wear making the image in good condition.
