"The Valley Beautiful", V. 1 No. 3 (April 1926). A monthly magazine published by The Valley Beautiful Association. The cover has the title at the top, colored photographic image of an orange grove with a mountain backdrop in the center and publishing information at the bottom. Articles include pieces on the Battle of San Gabriel River, canyon roads in the San Gabriel Valley area, Pomona College, wild flowers, and historic point marking. There are several photographs as well as a few advertisements from local businesses, such as a bee farm, a movie theatre and the Baldwin Park and Monterey Park Chambers of Commerce. In fair condition with some cover stains, a tear at the binding, some page discoloration, some pencil marks on a few pages, a few creases on the cover, and some surface staining.
