"The Valley Beautiful", V. 1 No. 5 (July 1926). A monthly magazine published by The Valley Beautiful Association. The cover has the title at the top, photo image of two women in a field of flowers in the center and publishing information at the bottom. Articles include pieces on the San Gabriel Valley in the Civil War era, the planting of roadside trees, and the protection of watershed plantings, and historic point marking. There are several photographs as well as a few advertisements from local businesses, such as banks, lawyers, dentists, and the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce. In fair condition with some cover and page stains, small tears and creases on the cover, a pencil mark on the upper left corner of page four and light page discoloration.
