The article advocates for the establishment of fire colleges for large city fire departments, in order for experienced officers to teach new recruits before leaving the service. It outlines the advantages and also provides a sample lecture about the principal acids and chemicals used in warehouses. The article is illustrated with photographs. It is in good condition with a minor tear.
