PHOTOGRAPH, VIEW OF Downtown Business Dist., LA ca. 1910s. Taken from atop a building, the image looks north and west toward the Court House and federal buildings near Bunker Hill. Quite a number of signs are visible on buildings, including Hoegee Sporting Goods in the foreground, Security Trust and Savings Bank at the left, and Zellerbach Paper Company at the right. The pencil inscription, "View of Business District, L.A. Calif," is at the top margin. The condition is good with some paper browning and a few small creases.
