Description
View of the grand Bellevue Terrace Hotel, Figueroa Street and Sixth Street, Los Angeles, ca.1900. The image was taken by Munsey. The three-story Victorian wood structure is partially obscured by a row of palm trees on the front lawn. There is a covered porch and two balconies in front and an octagonal tower with a turret. Gabled windows poke out of the roof on the left side, facing the street. The landscaped lawn is separated from the front sidewalk by a low retaining wall. The photograph is pasted onto a piece of paper, it is in good condition despite the minor discoloration and warping.
