Description

Photograph: A black and white photograph of the Vigare family, ca. 1930s. Shown are two women and three children standing in front a house, with two adults in the background. None of the persons is known, except for Luz Vigare, the older woman in the front center, who was the sister of Laura Temple. The photographer was probably Thomas W. Temple II, seen in 96.35.188, and who lived at the Vigare home, an historic adobe that survives in San Gabriel, until his 1938 marriage. The photo is in good condition with little evidence of wear. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. The number "61" is stamped in ink on the back. Number-Units: 1
