VIGARE FAMILY WITH Walter Temple Jr., Josette Temple, ca.1930s. A black and white photograph of the Vigare family with Walter Temple Jr, and Josette Temple, ca. 1930s. The photo shows the six adults and child standing in front of a house. Walter Jr. stands at far right in white shirt and dark slacks. The others are not known, except for Luz Vigare, the sister of Laura Temple, who is standing at center in a black dress and holding the hand of Josette who appears to be about four to five years of age. It is assumed the others are Vigare family members. Thomas Temple lived at the home, an historic adobe, still standing in San Gabriel, until his marriage to Gabriela Quiroz in 1938. The photo is in good shape with little evidence of wear. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. The number "61" is stamped in ink on the back.
