Description

Color: Blue; White Sheet music of the Concerto Number 23 in G Major for Violin by Giovanni Battista Viotti, published by G. Schirmer (Inc.), New York, 1928. The front cover has a classical floral-like border, within which, at the center, is another ornately bordered with classical fleur-de-lis and other components. In this second border is the title of the work, the price, and the series "SCHIRMER'S / LIBRARY." On the back cover is a list of other items from the series for violin and piano. There is a title page with essentially the same information as on the cover, followed by the piece, which was edited by Ferdinand David and revised by Henry Schradieck, and which contains 23 pages. At the top of the front are pencil inscriptions by a previous owner. With cover creases, corner dents, soiling, scratches on the back, stains, staple tarnish, and small tears at the bottom of the spine, as well as some yellowing of pages, the overall condition is fair.
