A catalog issued by the W. T Hight Company, ca. 1920s. The 72-page catalog has a brown paper cover with the name of the company at the top and the company logo and address on the bottom all in blue ink. At center is a green box with the words, "Furniture Hardware / and Specialties / Drapery Brass Goods / Upholstery & Carpet / Supplies / Manufacturer's Agents." A green border is around the edges of the cover. On the back is the company logo with the name and address of the publisher on the bottom right corner. At the beginning is an introduction and a table of contents. Articles available for sale include drapery rods and brackets; hooks; pins; rings; shade supplies; cover knobs; tread; linoleum knives; rubber mats; carpet and rug binding; furniture coasters; furniture polish; chair seats; brass pulls and knobs; bathroom fixtures; a clothes dryer; egg beater; porch gate; lamps; candlesticks; and mops. Many black and white illustrations and photographs are included. A return envelope, which is item .2, was found within. With abrasions; creases; surface soiling; and stains, the artifact is in fair condition.Lexicon
