Description

WALKWAY IN THE LA CASA NUEVA COURTYARD DURING REPAIRS Color: Brown A color polaroid photograph of repairs to the walkway leading from the east side of the La Casa Nueva courtyard toward the Tepee, 12 September 1979. The photographer stood on the walkway and is looking toward the east. Flanking the sides of the wal are woodmolds for the pouring of concrete curbs to widen the walkway and allow for wheelchair access. At the top is a sliver of the flagstone walk at the east side of the courtyard and a wheelchair accessibility ramp would later be added here. At the upper right one paver is removed from the wal. At upper left are two bound packets of wood stakes. At the bottom of the object in pencil reads "BACK WALKWAY / PATIO AREA 9/12/79." In good condition, the artifact shows little indication of wear or damage. Number-Units: 1
