Description

WALKWAY REPAIR NEAR NORTH END OF WEST MISSION WALKWAY Color: Brown A color polaroid photograph of repair at the walkway from the north end of the Mission Walkway to the Music Room of La Casa Nueva, 11 September 1979. The view, only slightly different from .944, is to the west, just shy of where the walkway begins. An area of eight pavers was removed and new mortar laid (where the gray areas are) to dry. At right is a small portion of a planting area to the north of the walkway, while the top is in shadow where the walkway is located. The end of an electrical cord isat the bottom right corner and there is a hint of a planter at the center left. At the bottom of the artifact is a pencil inscription "Front Walk New center pieces / Poured 9/11/79." The location in the inscription is not correct, however. With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
