"Walnut Avenue, Los Angelos [sic], Cal., U.S.A.," a stereoview by J. F. Jarvis, Publisher and sold by Underwood & Underwood, 1890s. The view shows the dirt road flanked by thick rows of trees, perhaps peppers in the background, while in the foreground is a portion of a garden that meets the road. This garden has bushes and shrubs, trees, and a pedestal in the center, on which is a statue of a swan. This suggests that Walnut Avenue terminated at an estate of some kind, but it is not clear. At the bottom right is the caption. At the left edge is the publisher's name and location of Washington, D. C. At the right is the seller's name and several locations in the United States, Canada, and England. With edge and corner rubbing; surface soiling; light fading of the images; foxing on the back; and stains, the overall condition is good.
