Description
WALTER P. TEMPLE AND UNIDENTIFIED MAN NEAR A BUILDING ENTRANCE
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of Walter P. Temple and an unidentified man, standing in front of a building entrance, perhaps the Mission San Luis Rey, ca. 1928. Mr. Temple is at right, wearing a dark-colored suit, white short, and striped tie. He holds a hat in his right hand at his side and, in his left hand held in front of him, is a cigar. The other man wears a dark-colored suit, white short, light-colored tie and looks to the left. The two are standing on an area with pavers, in bewteen which are grass or weeds growing. The building entrance has an arched cornice with painted trim, but there is little else to identify the location. A notice is posted on the right door, but it is not readable. On the reverse upper right corner is the stamped number "15." There is major water damage and mounting corner residue at the obverse top edge, so the artifact is in fair condition.
