Description
WALTER P. TEMPLE, JR. LEANING ON PILLAR, MISSION SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO?
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of Walter P. Temple, Jr. leaning against a pillar at what appears to be the Mission San Juan Capistrano, ca. 1928. Wally is facing to one side and has both arms resting against the top of what was likely one portion of a pillar connecting arches in a colonnade. He wears a white shirt and dark colored pants and shoes. In his left hand he holds a camera which dangles. In the background are some ruins of the mission and some landscaping. He stands on a dirt area which extends across the foreground. On the lower left corner of the reverse is the stamped number "56." Although there is some light stains and very light discoloration on both sides, the artifact is in good condition.
