Description
WALTER P. TEMPLE MEMORIAL MAUSOLEUM CEILING CONSERVATION
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of the ceiling conservation in the Walter P. Temple Memorial Mausoleum, ca. 1990s. Two people stand on ladders at the left and right. A woman, who wears a light-colored top and dark sweat-pants, is on the ladder at the left. She wears latex gloves and stretches the right arm up to the ceiling. A man, who wears a white shirt and denim pants, is on the ladder at the right. He holds a canvas strip up with his right hand while applying it on the ceiling with the left. Decorative elements line the border of the ceiling across the back and the right. The structure's east marble wall is at the center of the back. A stained glass window of the Madonna and St. Theresa is at the center of the wall. At the front of this is a marble podium. The conservators' supplies are on a table at the bottom left while a marble bench is on the right. The image has no signs of wear or damage and is therefore in good condition.
