Description

WALTER P. TEMPLE MEMORIAL MAUSOLEUM FROM THE EAST, CA. 1920S Color: Black; White A negative of the east elevation of the Walter P. Temple Memorial Mausoleum from the southeast, ca. 1920s. The view shows the entirety of the elevation, although there is a hedgerow and bushes growing next to the building and there appears to be the shadow of a palm tree on the building at the left. In the center is the original stained glass window later destroyed by vandals. In the foreground is grass, shrubs, and several palm trees and the southwest edge of the cast-iron fenced burial plot is at the lower right. A print of this negative is 2000.271.1.19. Aside from darkened edges, which only intrude slightly onto the image, there are no indications of damage or wear and the condition is good. Number-Units: 1
