WALTER P. TEMPLE MEMORIAL MAUSOLEUM FROM THE WEST, CA. 1920S Color: Black; White A black and white reproduction photograph of the Walter P. Temple Memorial Mausoleum from the west, ca. 1920s, taken in 1995. The brick structure has a sloping cornice at the center of the top, a decorative frieze, and a stained-glass window on the wall at the center of the bottom. The window has a figure within an oval at the center flanked by two more figures, although none of these are clearly discernible. The building is flanked by wings the tops of which are flat. A low hedge and a concrete sidewalk borders the mausoleum. At the left of the foreground is a palm and at the right are bushes, small trees, and the top of another palm. Written in blue pencil at the top right corner of the back is, "Ralph, Carol Temple Collection / May 1995 / Mausoleum looking West." Contact sheets for the image are items .35-37 with the negatives being items .2.1-.17. The artifact has no visible signs of damage or wear and is therefore in good condition. Number-Units: 1
