Description

Color: Green; White "Washable Interior Colors," issued by the Bradley and Vrooman Co., 1924. The green paper brochure has the title at the top of the front. Below this is, "The New / Velvet / Flat / Finish." At the left of the center is an illustration of the silhouette of a man who paints a wall. At the right is the silhouette of a woman who has a pan at her feet and washes a wall with a cloth. Both illustrations are within rectangular boxes. The name and address of the manufacturer is across the bottom of the cover. On the top of the back is an introduction to the product and at the bottom is the name and address of Kitzman Hardware. On the left of the inside are suggestions for color harmonies in the different rooms of the home. Listed at the right are the many advantages of using washable colors. The middle includes paint samples with such colors as Rose Tint, Scoth Gray, Lincoln Green, and Cocoanut Brown. A sheet of tissue paper protects the samples. Also in the middle are instructions for paint preparation and application. With light abrasions along the spine and stains on the tissue, the object is in good condition.
