WEDDING INVITATION FOR WEDDING OF FRANCES DAVOUST AND AUGUST STEINIKE, 1886
Document: A photocopy of a wedding invitation sent to John H. and Anita D. Temple for the wedding of Mrs. Temple's sister, Frances Davoust, to August Steinike. The wedding was held on 21 December 1886 at Turn-Verein Hall, Los Angeles. The original was a tri-fold card, with two sections folding from the sides and the larger fold from the top. On the side panels in black borders are the names of the bride and groom and in the center panel, also in black border, is the event information. The item is in good condition with a few creases, paper clip rust stains, and minor discoloration. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. None
