Description

Color: Black; White A reproduction black and white photograph of a wedding portrait of Maria Boyle Workman, Octboer 1867. The view is of Mrs. Workman's head and shoulder area and is faint at the lower section of the image. She wears a dark-colored dress with a scarf or similar-looking accessory around her neck and opened at her bosom, with a brooch (visible in photo 2000.217.1.10 at Mrs. Workman's fiftieth wedding anniversary) affixed to this piece. A long necklace is draped over this. She is facing to her left and away from the camera and her hair is pulled tightly into a ponytail at the back and there seems to be a haircomb barely visible at the back of her hair. An earring dangles from her right ear, as well. Mrs. Workman was married on 17 October 1867 to William H. Workman. As a newly produced photograph, the artifact is in mint condition. Number-Units: 1
