Description

WEST WINDOW AGNES' ROOM WITH ROSE AND WISTERIA DESIGNS Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of the west window in Agnes' Bedroom showing roses and wisteria in La Casa Nueva, ca. 1980. The window doors are closed and backlit from the natural light of the exterior. Illuminated in the glass are various roses at the bottom emanating from one or two vines--these include five fully and two partially opened buds. From the bottom right comes a wisteria vine leading toward the top and the top left, so that the entire upper area is profuse with a bloom of flowers. The leading in the windows consists of straight vertical and horizontal lines leaving square pieces of glass. A small portion of the curved end of the latch handle is at center. Because of the lighting the wooden frames of the doors are in shadow. With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
