Description

PAMPHLETS, WESTERN AIR EXPRESS, LOS ANGELES, May 1929. The item promotes the passenger airline service of the company from its terminal in Alhambra to destinations throughout the United States and to Mexico. Aside from text, there are colorful cartoon-like maps showing routes to San Francisco, Kansas City, Catalina Island, Tijuana or Agua Caliente, and Salt Lake City. A U. S. map shows how other means can be used to get passengers beyond Kansas City to points east. A description of services and conveniences on the Fokker aircraft with a photo is also given, as are company offices. The condition is good with cover edge wear, but little else of note.
