Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of the western elevation of La Casa Nueva, ca. 1926. Construction appears to have been largely completed: the walls are plastered; doors and windows in; the roof completed; the second floor patio looks finished and some landcaping has been put in at the edges of the home. The arbor at the double set of French doors, however, is not in and the bare patch of ground at the lower right corner indicates that the walkway and other landscaping have not been started. Details in the background include the top of the historic palm tree, at upper center, planted in 1925 at the southeastern corner and a power pole near the auditorium, at right. Aside from a dented corner at the lower right and surface soiling on the reverse, the object is in good condition.
