WHITE COTTON MONOGRAMMED PALM TREE DESIGN TOWEL

A white cotton monogrammed hand towel with palm tree designs, ca. 1920s. The piece has an embroidered background of four palm trees emanating from the area of the monogram "T M W", which is at the lower center. Beneath the monogram is a design of linked circular elements in a looping pattern, under which is a bordered area with diamond-shaped lines. Below this is a dentil-like border on top and bottom, within which is a pierced line. Never before used, the artifact has no indications of wear or damage and is in good condition.
