Description

Color: White A ladies' white silk shawl, ca. 1900, believed to have been owned by Lucille C. Workman [Buehler Montenegro], daughter of Joseph and Josephine Belt Workman. The piece has an alternating pattern of tight and open weaves with no discernible identifying feature to the patterning. A 2 1/2" border with an openweave is fringed on the ends. With many holes and tears and a very fragile aspect, the piece is in poor condition.
