A real photo postcard of "Whittier Auto Camp," ca. 1920s. The view is from a paved road and, behind two large pepper trees is the entrance to the camp, with the facility's name on a large sign on a fence. A car is parked just outside and a small frame building is inside with some children next to it. In the distance are some hills, probably the Puente Hills. On the reverse is an ink inscription, "Camp grounds in Whittier, Calif." With some foxing, a few stains, a crease at the upper right and dented corners, but the image clear, the condition is good overall.Lexicon
