"Who's Who in California, 1928-29," edited by Justice B. Detwiler (San Francisco: Who's Who Publishing Company,) 1929. The 720-page book has a black cover with gold lettering on the front containing the title. The item has a foreword, a list of abbreviations used for educational, fraternal, professional, and other purposes, railway abbreviations, an index of names, and the listing of persons, some of which are accompanied by photographs. Included in the book are Walter P. Temple, on page 160, Boyle Workman on page 517, William H. Workman (deceased) on page 593, and George H. Woodruff on page 214. At the back is an advertising section, including one for Dominican College, which Agnes Temple attended. In poor condition, the items's covers are detached and are in unsalvageable condition, but the contents are generally good and the item will be rebound in a new library cover for research use.Lexicon
