WHY WOMEN SHOULD VOTE FOR HARDING AND COOLIDGE
Color: Black, white
"Why Women Should Vote for Harding and Coolidge" by Ruth Wright Kauffman (New York: Republican National Committee), 1920. The four-page pamphlet is on plain white paper folded in half. Within a two-line border at the top is the title and author's name. At the bottom of the back is the name and address for the Republican National Committee, under which is the logo for the Allied Printing Trades Council union. The contents include arguments about why the Republican Party deserved the vote of women, who had just received the suffrage to vote for federal elections, including that of 1920 which featured Republicans Harding and Coolidge against Democrats. There are a couple of creases and one stain on the left edge of the back side, but the artifact is overall in good condition.
