Color: Black; White
A reproduction black and white photograph of William H. Workman, ca. 1860s. The image is a portrait showing Workman in a full view. He wears a dark-colored three-piece suit, with a white shirt and dark-colored bow tie, as well as a white ribbon or sash worn around the neck and draped over the front of the suit. He is clean shaven with his hair parted at the left (from the viewer's vantage point.) The portrait was taken with a rather ornate backdrop, including a screen with a seaside or lakeside scene, including a large column at the left and a checkerboard floor at the bottom. Workman's right hand rests on a table with a pedimented top and a series of balusters atop a pedestal There also appears to be carpeting on the floor. Workman was a nephew of William Workman. As a newly produced photograph, the artifact is in mint condition.
