Color: Black; White
A reproduction black and white photograph of William H. Workman, ca. 1887. The image is a portrait showing Workman in a head-and-shoulder view. He wears a dark-colored three-piece suit, with a white shirt and light-colored tie. He wears a goatee and his graying hair is parted from the viewer's right. There is a plain backdrop with no ornamentation on it. It is likely that the image was taken while Workman, a nephew of William Workman, was mayor of Los Angeles from 1886-1888. As a newly produced photograph, the artifact is in mint condition.
