Description

A colored photographic postcard of the Windsor Hotel, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, ca. 1918. The structure is at center and viewed from the top of an unknown building. The hotel is square, appearing to be about seven stories, with a domed cupola at the facing corner and small roofed dormers at the centers of the roof on all four sides and on the corners. The name is seen on the roof line just to the left of the cupola. At the bottom is a street lined with large trees. A church and other unidentified structures are partially seen around the hotel and in the background are hills with buildings dotting the landscape. The caption is in red at top left. Unused, the card is in good condition with minor edge abrasions and reverse surface staining. The Temple sons stayed at this hostelry during a New Year's vacation in 1928. The caption reads, "Windsor Hotel, Montreal."
