Description

Color: Blue One of a pair of woman's blue silk stockings, 1924. The item is a sky blue color and has a hem at the top and a simple stitched line design on both sides at the ankle and foot area with a floral design at the top of the stitch. Other than this, there is little else of descriptive content to the item, which was purchased in Paris by the donor's great-grandmother during an around-the-world trip in 1924. Except for some minor fading, especially at the toe area, and some small black stains on one side and near the top, the artifact is in good condition.
