(Scranton: International Textbook Company, 1927), 199 pp. The book has a black hardcover with the title within a shield at the top of the front. The title, subtitle, and volume number are in gold along the spine. At the beginning of the inside are a title page, a preface, and a table of contents. The artifact is divided into four parts which are "Salads and Sandwiches," "Cold and Frozen Desserts," "Cakes, Cookies, and Puddings," and " Pastries and Pies." Some black and white photographs and illustrations are included. At the end is an index. Volumes 1-3 and 5 are in the collection and are items .2.1-.3 and .5. With light abrasions; slightly dented corners; some fading of the gold lettering; and red crayon markings on the back, the object is in good condition.Lexicon
