(Scranton: International Textbook Company, 1927), 306 pp. The book has a black hardcover with the title within a shield at the top of the front. The title, subtitle, and volume number are in gold along the spine. At the beginning of the inside are a title page, a preface, and a table of contents. The artifact is divided into six parts which are "Fruit and Fruit Desserts"Canning and Drying," "Jelly Making, Preserving, and Pickling," "Confections," Beverages," and "The Planning of Meals." At the end is an index. Some black and white photographs and illustrations are included. Volumes 1-4 are in the collection and are items .2.1-.4. With light abrasions; slightly dented corners; some fading of the gold lettering; and a small tear on the cover fabric, the object is in good condition.Lexicon
