Description

Color: Black; Blue; Green; Red; Yellow "Woman's World," April 1928 issue, published by Woman's World Magazine Co., Inc. The front cover has the title of the periodicals at the top in large black letters. Underneath this is a multicolored image of a woman dressed in what seems to be a Colonial-era costume, tying a cravat on a young boy standing on a cane seat chair in a bedroom. Some of the featured contents are at the bottom, along with the issue date and the cover price of ten cents. Contents of the magazine include fiction, including one children's story; poetry; cruise ship sailing; six-room house plans; rugs for the home; landscaping for the home; women's fashion; table decoration; food recipes; home lighting; advice for expectant mothers; and household linens. There are a great many advertisements and black-and-white and some color illustrations. With cover creases, dented corners, light soiling, stains, and tears, the artifact is in fair condition overall.
