Description

Color: Black; White A negative of a worker with some adobe bricks at the Workman Homestead, ca. 1923. The worker kneels next to bricks which are laying flat on the ground for drying. In front of him is a newly pressed brick in a wooden frame. To his left is a bucket of adobe mud waiting for pressing and there seems to be a thinner brick off to the right. In the background next to a row of bricks is a wheelbarrow. In the left background are rows of trees, presumably walnuts. The image is very dark, but other than non-intrusive edge darkening, there appears to be little wear or damage and the object is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
