Workingmen Party endorsement card, 1902 Los Angeles mayoral election
Entry/Object ID
2006.341.1.1
Description
An endorsement card by the Workingmen Party for Los Angeles mayoral candidate McCahan, 1902. The item provides a listing of expected labor votes by type and states that the number well exceeded the number needed to secure election. At the bottom left is a logo of the local Allied Printing Trades union. On the reverse are highly faded pencil inscriptions that appear to do with a construction project of some kind. With heavy creasing, staining at the lower right, soiling, and edge wear, the condition is fair.
