Description

A day book containing what appear to be transcriptions by Laura Gonzalez Temple of transactions from the Workman Homestead in July and August 1887, written sometime in 1922. Transactions, when the Homestead was owned by Francis W. Temple, mainly concern the selling of wine, as well as maintenance of the vineyard and ranch by who appear to be two of Laura's brothers. Persons mentioned include William Rowland, August Amar, F. Rambaud, Pedro Lugo, Magarita Temple, Lucinda Temple Arnaz and John H. Temple. Laura appears to have been working for Francis and, perhaps, taking care of Nicolasa Workman. The overall condition is good.
