Description

Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of the Workman House east center room interior, December 2000. The camera is focused to the room's northeast corner. The walls are of adobe, some of it exposed, others covered with plaster. Much of the north and east walls were repaired after a collapse in 1977. At the left is a doorway that leads to the northeast wing, and at the right is a door. Both doorways are, for the most part, obstructed by furniture that is covered by linen and plastic sheets. The photograph, that was part of the Historic American Buildings Survey and was funded by the museum's Getty Grant, is in mint condition. Number-Units: 1
