Description

Color: Black; White A black and white negative of the Workman House northeast wing interior, December 2000. Fluorescent lights overhead light the room, that has an exposed red brick wall at the right, and plain plastered wall at the center of the back. Here is also a doorway that leads into the northern most room believed to have been William Workman's office. Through the doorway is seen a triptych window and furniture that is covered by linen and plastic sheets. In the foreground is more furniture protected in the same way as the latter. The negative, that was part of the Historic American Buildings Survey and was funded by the museum's Getty Grant, is in mint condition. Number-Units: 1
