Description

Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of the Workman House north porch restoration, April 1978. The image is a view of the east wall plaster restoration. Across the top the plaster is smooth with some water marks, a large crack on the left, and light grids forming a brick facade. A break in the plaster is along the middle directly above the top of a wood door frame located on the bottom center. Here, there are portions of the adobe within the wall can be seen. On the right side of the frame is plaster painted in a brick design with white streaks marking demolition points. On the left, the plaster is the same except for a ruler situated against the wall. Through the doorway can be seen a window and boards. The back top left corner reads in black ink: "PRINT #113 SCALE: 1 1/2"=1'-0"/ BY JEFF TYLER/ NORTH PORCH EAST WALL/ WORKMAN RESIDENCE/ PRIOR TO PLASTER RESTORATION/ CA. 4/78." A stamp on the right provides the name and business information of Raymond Grivigian, the restoration architect. With no signs of wear, the image is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
